Reopening...something that we have been hoping for and yet there is a sense of caution and unknown as our state has started the gradual process of reopening. There are so many questions that everyone is grappling with while we consider the discussions of reopening and how it effects every business, school, place of worship and everyone's health.
Can I take a moment to talk about our local business owners? Everyone is trying to do what they can to survive this - but the nature of how people shop or use local businesses makes this effort even more difficult for them. They really need our help right now and never has "Shop Local" been as important as it is right now and for local shop owners - their struggle is real!
Tim and I wanted to do something to help and I had an idea!
"I wonder if the 3D tours that I use for marketing homes could be something that we could try to translate for stores so they could offer a 3D virtually shopping experience"?
If this worked, it would allow buyers to "browse and walk-through" stores virtually to get a real sense of what a shop offered. Then, the customer could call to set up curbside pick-up! The test store that we shot came out better than we could have imagined!
Tim and I are sponsoring the local businesses to make these tours more affordable to them. We are featuring all of the stores with virtual shopping tours here for you - all in once place for one stop shopping. Local businesses are vital to a town and they are an important part of what gives a town its character. We are excited to present this way for you to shop local - virtually!
Happy Shopping!
